Yes, there is such a book.
Yup, the Pacific North West is just a'crawling with monster stories. In fact, I caught the last few minutes of Monster Quest the other night, while waiting to start another show on HISTORY -- Modern Marvels, I think -- and it was a segment on our Crescent Lake.
And dang! We have yet one more monster mythos, and I didn't even know about it! :-/
It must'a been about a lake monster, since the show was about Lake Monsters in the Pacific North West. And here I am, driving past that lake about 4 times a month, and I don't even know her (it's always a "her", ain't it?) name. I am so ashamed. How can I call myself a Pacific North Wester, if I don't even know the name of all our monsters?
