What? Didn't get that joke? Hold on, can't hear ya. Forgot my hearing aide. There. Got it. What was that again? 

Waaaay back in the olden days of comic books -- circa late 1980s (yes, that long ago. Whew! We didn't even have an internet yet.) -- there was a magazine called AMAZING HEROES. (Good Golly! Checked online, and you can download them now! @@)And it was the best darn'tootin comic book magazine EVER. And in it was this little comic strip called The Cartoonist. Where Wood (my alter ego) and Silver made fun of every character in Comicdom. Or at least tried to.

So, if you're too young to remember that. Well, all us old people got it. And found it hilarious.
